My name is Nicole Byrum, and I am an independently licensed marriage and family therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. I have over 15 years of experience in clinical settings and have come to deeply understand the importance of the therapeutic relationship. One of my strengths as a therapist is my ability to connect with a variety of people! Working in community mental health throughout my career has given me the opportunity to serve diverse clientele with a wide range of presenting issues. Much of my work has focused on individuals facing addictions, mood disorders, and anxiety. However, with my background in marriage and family therapy, I also enjoy working with couples and families. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy and am always on the lookout for the strengths my clients possess. I love teaching new skills and aim to equip my clients with practical tools. While I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I tailor the treatment plan to meet your individual needs. I'm so glad you've decided to take this step toward change.
