Hello, I'm Nicole, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Fort Collins, CO. I'm proud to be raising my three amazing children with my partner in this wonderful community. My journey in social work began at Colorado State University, where I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience and training in crisis intervention, trauma-informed practices, birth trauma, NICU trauma, child loss, parent/child interactions, pregnancy, and postpartum care. I firmly believe in the strength of relationships and the power of self-advocacy. My approach to therapy is centered around empowering individuals and families to navigate life transitions, which can often bring about adversity, challenges, and unexpected trauma. By helping you develop tools and identify your strengths and resiliency, I aim to provide the structure needed for healing to begin. For 15 years, I specialized in working with clients in a hospital setting, particularly in the Birthing Center, Postpartum Unit, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Additionally, I have been an active member of the Crisis Support Team and have contributed to Outpatient Child Therapy Services for the Cleft Lip/Palate Clinic. My passion lies in supporting individuals through the various transitions of parental life and helping them through their unique experiences.
