What should a new client know about working with you?

As a passionate, highly empathetic, strength-based therapist, I believe in a collaborative approach. I assist clients in defining their individual path to healing. I implement person-centered and strength-based approaches, meeting each client where they are at and embracing them with compassion and empathy. I utilize integrated evidence-based practices to create a tailored approach for each individual and their own situation.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients can expect to gain practical skills, knowledge, and a greater sense of empowerment through their clinical work with me. My hope is that clients leave each session with a deeper understanding of themselves and a more effective approach to managing emotions and navigating life’s stressors and challenges. I primarily utilize talk therapy and, when clinically appropriate, incorporate gentle movement, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices to increase awareness of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. Through this integrative approach, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and practical tools they can carry into their daily lives.
