Hello and Welcome!!! My name is Nicole Kumane` Chisum and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Illinois and Indiana. I am committed to improving the lives of others through the therapeutic process. I received a Master's in Child Development and my Masters Social Work. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, children and families as a dedicated Social Worker. I believe that when individuals are given the space to fully express themselves and have a supportive therapist, they can discover the positive changes they are looking for. I am a warm, compassionate and laid-back therapist that will work with you to set goals, solve problems, and explore emotions. Therapy is all about meeting you where you are and I will always work to meet you in that place. During therapy it is important to explore the hard stuff, it can also be an enjoyable experience too.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We are going to talk it out!! I'd like to get a clear understanding of what brought you to therapy. Once that is complete, I will share with you ways I can help and support you. Moving forward we will set goals for the time we share together, then we will get to work.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
