Nicole Nemec, LPC, believes therapy should be a place where a person can receive unconditional acceptance and healing through a therapeutic relationship. She works to provide that space with a warm, empathetic, and person-centered approach. Nicole earned her undergraduate degree from Roosevelt University and holds a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She helps children, adolescents, and families struggling with behavioral dysregulation, attachment issues, adjustment problems, developmental and identity challenges, parenting skills, and more. In therapy, Nicole utilizes play therapy, art therapy, CBT/DBT, and provides psychoeducation to help clients meet their goals. In every case, she prioritizes safety and highlights each client's strengths throughout treatment.
