Nicole Rademacher, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I work with adults who are carrying experiences that are hard to put into words — adoption, foster care histories, grief, trauma, anxiety, identity questions, cultural displacement, creative blocks, and complicated family relationships. Many of my clients feel caught between worlds: between families, cultures, roles, languages, or versions of themselves. Some are adult adoptees or people connected to foster care. Some are artists, caregivers, or sensitive people who have learned to hold a lot quietly. As an LMFT and Board Certified Art Therapist, I combine talk therapy with art therapy, somatic awareness, relational therapy, EMDR-informed work, and trauma-informed care. You do not need to be an artist to benefit from art therapy. Creative work can offer another way to notice and understand what may not be fully available through language. I also bring lived experience as a transracial Latina adoptee, but our work centers you: your pace, your body, your relationships, and what you are ready to explore. *I am currently accepting new clients through select insurance plans only.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
