My approach I draw from several therapeutic modalities to help you identify and challenge negative thoughts and behavior patterns so you can move forward in a healthy way. We can implement strategies and skills based on your needs and preferences, such as relaxation techniques, mindfulness, or practical problem-solving steps. My focus I provide services to adults from varying backgrounds navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, co-dependency, relationship concerns, life transitions, work stress, and healing from trauma. I am available to meet virtually or in person in the La Mesa area of San Diego County. My communication style I believe in clear and open communication. It’s important to me that you feel seen, heard, understood, and supported. You can expect a calm and nurturing space to help you stay grounded. My journey to mental healthcare My journey as a social worker and therapist began with understanding the importance of human connection. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from San Diego State University, which laid the foundation for my clinical skills. Through education and work experiences, I have gained knowledge working with children, adults, and families in medical and psychiatric facilities, educational settings, and child protection. I have supported those in crisis facing domestic violence, substance abuse, and trauma.
