Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Nigeria! Choosing a therapist for yourself or a family member can be a difficult decision. Engaging in therapy requires true consideration for your mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Driven by a passion for making a meaningful difference, I founded New Perspectives Therapeutic Services to create a safe, inclusive space where individuals can access comprehensive mental health services tailored to their unique needs. I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges and thrive. Under my leadership, the clinic has become a trusted community resource known for its compassionate approach and evidence-based practices. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Saint Leo University, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to provide effective, client-centered care. My approach is rooted in compassion. I aim to create safe spaces for clients to build trusting therapeutic relationships, focus on open communication, and promote self-growth and positive change. I believe every experience has purpose and can be a catalyst for growth. I am passionate about individual growth and diversity, hoping each client learns more about their individuality and the purpose they serve in the world. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in various settings, including outpatient clinics, public schools, the Department of Juvenile Justice, domestic violence shelters, and substance abuse treatment facilities. I’ve worked with trauma and sexual abuse victims, served as a clinician for human trafficking survivors, and was Executive Director for a private adoption agency. My communication style in therapy is warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental, creating a safe space where clients feel heard and understood.
