Getting to know Nina Nazimowitz

Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT We are all unique, yet we often struggle in similar ways. Have you found yourself repeating the same patterns over and over, thinking you could do it differently, but ending up in the same place? There is a way to move through painful patterns and create meaningful change. Experiences of trauma, in all forms, create challenges in our daily lives. With empathy, true understanding, and self-awareness, we can learn to navigate life more effectively. If this resonates with you, please reach out, and we can work together to create more of what you want in your life. My background is in person-centered therapy, and I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno. Negative life experiences can prevent us from enjoying our successes and preparing for future success in personal relationships-with others and ourselves-as well as in work and parenting. As we move beyond old thought patterns, we can create new experiences and attitudes. Let me assist you on your next journey! I have supported children, adults, and elders in their efforts to develop new approaches and achieve desired change. I would be honored to support you on your journey to get more of what you want and need in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After a very comprehensive intake, we will collaborate to define a path that will enable you to take steps toward your goals. Within a few sessions, your confidence, self-concept, decision-making and overall clarity will begin to increase. You'll feel more empowered and calm, and more capable of managing emotions, relationships and stressors.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
