I am certified and trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. My focus Drawing from over 20 years of dedicated clinical practice, I offer compassionate and professional support for individuals, children, adolescents, and families navigating life's complexities. From fostering healthy relationships to managing anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, trauma, gender identity, divorce, and grief/loss. My communication style I strive to create a therapeutic space where warmth, encouragement, understanding, and laughter promote positive change. Because everyone comes to therapy with unique experiences, I use a combination of methods and techniques to best suit the needs of each person I work with to help maximize the benefits of therapy. As a therapist, I have often been described as authentic, warm, and direct. My journey to mental healthcare My journey as a social worker began in 1991 as a child protection worker with the Department of Children and Families in CT.
