Your brain is basically that one friend who means well but gives terrible advice. It jumps to conclusions, expects the worst, overthinks everything, and somehow expects you to believe every word it says. The good news? You don't have to let it call the shots. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia who works with adults (18+) navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, grief, and life transitions. I also specialize in working with active-duty military, veterans, and first responders, and in the unique demands of their careers. My style is warm, honest, interactive, and a little sarcastic when the moment calls for it. I'll listen without judgment, but I won't just nod along. I'll challenge you, teach you, and give you practical tools you can actually use. I believe therapy should help you understand your mind, build confidence, and leave you with the skills to manage life long after our work together ends. I love making psychology make sense. My goal is to take complex concepts, break them down into practical, relatable ideas, and help you become the expert on your own mind. If you're ready for real conversations, a few laughs, and meaningful change, I'd love to help.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
