Hi, I'm Noemi, a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from Southern California. I've been in practice since 2003 and currently provide treatment to children and their families. Educational Background: I graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services in 2003, emphasizing mental health and social work. In 2005, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), concentrating in Children and Family Services. In 2017, I earned my PPSC with an emphasis on Child Welfare and Attendance from California State University, Long Beach. Clinical Experience: Most of my clinical experience was gained working in a county-level outpatient high-risk clinic. I provided individual, group, and parenting services to high-risk youth, including clients discharged from inpatient treatment, on probation, or in out-of-home placements. I used talk therapy and evidence-based practices to address issues, collaborating with programs such as Wraparound and MDFT. Additionally, I provided Mental Health Related Services (MHRS) to students receiving counseling as part of their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). As part of the IEP team, I worked closely with teachers and special education staff to identify treatment goals and develop objectives to help students benefit from their educational placement. I also have 10 years of experience working for a foster adoption agency, promoting safety, family reunification, adoption, and parenting. For the last three years, I have continued working with children receiving counseling services through their IEP using an online platform. My passion is to help children and their families strengthen relationships, heal, and reach their mental health goals. Life is hard, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming.

What should a new client know about working with you?

If given the opportunity, I will help my clients identify mental health goals. From there I would like to help build their coping tool box so that they may be able to deal with difficult situations, negative feelings, and help them become more confident in their ability to manage future situations.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
