Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I empower clients to reshape negative thoughts and behaviors, providing effective coping skills for depression, anxiety, and stress. I offer Culturally Sensitive Therapy, tailoring approaches to honor each client's cultural identity, and enhancing therapeutic outcomes. With Trauma-Informed Care, I create a safe environment for healing from PTSD and ASD, guiding clients toward empowerment and recovery sensitively and effectively. My ultimate goal is to empower my clients to discover their strengths, acknowledge their legacy, and overcome their limitations, utilizing a range of therapy techniques that are tailored to their individual needs.

Nusrat is an amazing mental health provider! I have been seeing her for over six months and I can truly see improvements in my mental health. I found her during a major life transition, and during our time together she has helped me improve my emotional regulation, develop healthy coping skills, and address my interpersonal relationships in a healthy manner. As a second-generation South Asian American, I was specifically looking for a South Asian therapist. I wanted a mutual understanding of culture without needing to explain the background or intricacies or have my therapist "downplay" or negatively compare my culture to America's "independent and free" culture. Nusrat far exceeded my expectations. Coming from the same background, she can empathize and offer insightful discussions on South Asian culture. If you want a therapist with cultural competence (whether you are South Asian or not) I have no doubt Nusrat is a great option!
