Ofori Asante, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi there, I'm Ofori! I am a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I specialize in helping others figure out the causes of their frustrations, anger, anxiety, and lack of resources in dealing with their problems. I'm so happy that you reached out for help. I am Ofori Charles Asante (Dr. A), a licensed therapist. You can read more about my background, education, experience, and therapy approach by clicking on my profile. I am available Tuesday through Sunday and responsive to messages. You can schedule online in my calendar for sessions via telephonic, messaging, or live video. I generally can respond at least once per morning and once per evening, sometimes more! You can also book a live session with me ahead of time. My approach I have developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping clients identify the root cause of their challenges and creating a plan specifically for them that leads to measurable progress. I can beautifully and respectfully confront and encourage at the same time to support the array of goals you want to accomplish as a client. I encourage vulnerability in communication, whether working with individual clients or couples. My approach to treatment is integrative, so using other approaches is also considered. These approaches tend to allow for greater and longer-lasting change. If you are searching for directions, inner peace, or need help in getting past an obstacle in your marriage, I would welcome the opportunity to work with you. At times, due to life demands, schedules become complex, so I have weekends and some flexible schedules that will accommodate the needs of couples and individual clients. My focus I have vast experience working with those who suffer from depression, self-esteem issues, and anxiety. I also have a wealth of experience working with those struggling with phobias, self-worth, poor relationships, and grief. Being practical in therapy, I tend to encourage clients to do outside work to enhance.

Unfortunately I was unable to see the provider. He cancelled our first appointment the day before the appointment which was ok. I scheduled the next appointment via zoom and he never showed up at all.
