Getting to know Olena Prokopenko
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from National University, Fresno, and 5 years of clinical experience counseling individuals in private practice, non-profit organizations, and community clinics. I have worked with clients on a variety of mental health and personal issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship challenges, sleeping difficulties, pregnancy and parenting concerns, and more. I especially enjoy helping clients transition into new careers and discover their purpose in life.
My goal in counseling is to help my clients live deeply fulfilling lives and reach their full potential. How that goal is achieved depends on each client's individual needs. I listen attentively and with compassion to concerns and collaborate with my clients to meet their unique therapy objectives.

I don’t believe this therapist understands the life transition I am going through.

For the first time in my life a medical professional is "dumping me". She asked questions to me on two separate sessions two days in a row. I explained all my mental issues to her and told her I would like to cultivate a long term therapy relationship with her. She seemed to agree. Yet, after my second session, she did not say anything to my face but she dumped me by text message without explanation. So unprofessional and unreliable behaviour. She added more reasons onto my existing anxiety. I want her to know she made my life a little harder than it already was. I wish I never met her.
