Getting to know Olivia Brooks
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who has worked across multiple settings, including mobile crisis, acute inpatient psychiatric care, private hospital care, group therapy, and emergency services. I have experience helping children, adolescents, and families with the most common mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, parenting issues, family conflict, self-esteem, OCD, and anger management.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am dedicated to meeting clients where they are, and utilize a strengths-based approach to help clients reach their goals through a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happy life and to take the first steps towards change. I’m happy to support and empower my clients throughout this journey!
What is your typical process for working with clients?
When you are ready to get started, schedule an initial assessment visit (intake) through Zocdoc. After you book an appointment, a care coordinator will reach out to review your method of payment and/or insurance number and answer any initial questions you may have before our initial assessment visit.
