Hi there, I'm Pamela! Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck... unsure how to move forward but knowing something needs to shift. If that sounds like you, you’re not alone, and I’d be honored to support you through it. Hi, I’m Pam, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I work with adults who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. My approach I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” method. I pull from different approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care — depending on what’s most helpful for you. Sometimes that means we’ll focus on building tools and strategies to manage overwhelming thoughts or emotions. Other times, we might slow down and explore deeper patterns or past experiences that are still affecting you now. What matters most to me is that we work at your pace, in a way that feels meaningful and manageable. You’re the expert in your life — I’m here to help guide, support, and challenge you when it’s needed. My focus I work with adults from many different backgrounds, including those facing trauma (past or recent), anxiety, grief, or struggles related to addiction or sobriety. I also support people going through major life changes — whether it's the loss of a relationship, becoming a parent, changing careers, or adjusting to a new chapter in life. If you’re feeling like you're always in survival mode or tired of carrying the same weight alone, we’ll work together to unpack what’s going on and find ways to move toward feeling more grounded and whole. My communication style Clients describe me as direct but compassionate. I believe in being real — if something’s hard, we’ll name it; if something needs to shift, I’ll say so, but always with care and respect. I’m not a therapist who just nods — I’ll be present, engaged, and sometimes even bring a little humor into the room when it helps.
