Paris Conner, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Paris! My name is Paris E. Conner, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. I am deeply committed to fostering healing and growth by using a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of those seeking support. My approach As an LMFT, I view individuals as part of a larger system—family, relationships, and cultural context. I work with couples, families, and individuals to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and deepen emotional connection. I use a combination of therapeutic models tailored to the client’s needs, such as Brainspotting, Gottman, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative therapy. My focus Individual therapy focuses on personal growth, emotional regulation, trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. I love working with transitional-age youth (12–24), providing adolescent therapy that addresses family conflict, identity development, substance abuse, and academic and social struggles. I especially enjoy using Brainspotting to help clients heal from past trauma and post-traumatic disorders. I also work with all ages suffering from anxiety and depression. My communication style My environment plays a significant role in creating a space where clients feel non-judgmental, comfortable, safe, supported, calm, and grounded. My journey to mental healthcare After 33 years as a Nurse Practitioner, instead of retiring, I returned to college to become an LMFT, earning my Master’s in Psychology from Brandman University. As someone who experienced a troubled childhood, I’ve been able to lend a listening ear with empathy and understanding. Friends and family have always told me I should be a therapist. I love helping others feel as though they’re not alone.
