Pascale Claus, LPCC

Psychotherapist
CA
You have been thinking about this for a while but keep putting it off—talking to someone about what is holding you back, what keeps you stuck, and what has prevented you from being happy with yourself and your life. Now, you are ready to take this courageous step. You are seeking someone who will not judge you but will actively listen to what you have to say—someone who will make you feel comfortable and safe to address the symptoms that bring you to therapy, whether it be depression, anxiety, grief, or unresolved trauma. As a person-centered therapist, I meet you where you are and believe that no matter how difficult things seem, you can find solutions. In the end, I believe that no technique can replace a therapist’s rapport and trust with their client. Having changed careers mid-life, earning a Master’s in Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino, obtaining licensure as a therapist, teaching in a graduate program, and working with children, adolescents, and adults, I bring extensive life experience to our work together. Besides having a solid understanding of most evidence-based interventions—methods of treatment proven to be effective—I also have extensive experience in narrative therapy and approaches to mental illness and substance abuse. Would you like to feel heard and understood? Are you willing to give it a try?
