"Hello, I'm Patricia Abrahamson, but everyone calls me Pattie! I embarked on my journey in the field of mental health field after graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, where I earned my Master of Science in Social Administration/Social Work Degree through The Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Since then, I've been joyfully working with children, youth, and families, helping them to navigate life's multiple challenges & endless transitions. I also have several specialties that allow me to provide my clients with a wide range of excellent therapy services. I specialize in anxiety, depression, past traumatic experiences, and stress in addition to working with children & adolescent behavioral health. I have earned a deep understanding of family dynamics and enjoy working with couples who can benefit from counseling plus parent-child relationships. I offer Christian counseling upon request. I have extensive experience providing respectful & quality therapy for older adults. Throughout the span of my most amazing career, I have traveled all around the nation as a Social Work Consultant. I've taught classes and seminars in women's issues, sexual abuse, chronic ailments, and issues related to death and dying. All these amazing experiences have only better equipped me to gain the knowledge to support clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. I believe in the importance of creating and maintaining a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, focusing on each individual's unique needs and personal goals.
