Hi, I'm Patricia Scheldrup, LCSW. Welcome to Conscious Counseling, where everyday reality and higher states of consciousness meet. Healing through holistic care: mind, body, and spirit. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, and over 12 years of experience. I provide teletherapy services to adults throughout California and Texas. I have a broad range of experience, having worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, foster care agencies, and hospices. During my career, I have helped individuals facing a multitude of challenges, from anxiety and depression to death and dying. I have also assisted people struggling with various life transitions, family and relationship issues, grief, and chronic pain. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and acknowledge each individual's intricacies and unique life experiences. Diversity is honored, respected, and celebrated.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I'm committed to building a strong therapeutic alliance and believe this foundation is essential for building trust and promoting positive change. In sessions you can expect to feel safe, heard and accepted. We will practice practical skills that can be easily applied to everyday challenges. We will also thoughtfully explore limiting beliefs and engage in creative problem solving. This process will spark insight and help you release old patterns. Ultimately, allowing space for more empowered states of being.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
