Getting to know Patrick Griffiths

Hi there, I'm Patrick! My name is Patrick Griffiths. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), providing telehealth services to anyone in California. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University and my Bachelor’s from California State University, San Bernardino. I am your guide on this journey, focusing on individuals, couples, and families. My approach I use various interventions tailored to each client, favoring Solution-Focused Therapy, Existential, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. With couples and families, I help discover healthier communication and conflict resolution skills. My focus With 18 years of experience, I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-worth, impulse control, lack of purpose, and job or family stress. Since I provide services solely via telehealth, I accept clients aged 13 and older. My communication style My goal is to help clients feel confident they have a resource to navigate struggles. My style is conversational and "down to earth." We all face difficult times; my job is to make things manageable. My journey to therapy Like many, I had a rough childhood with little support. A special teacher, who was also a therapist, invested time in me and showed me my life had meaning. As I grew older, I wanted to be that person for someone else and made this my career. I thoroughly enjoy my work and look forward to meeting you.
