I specialize in treating substance use disorders by assisting clients in developing insight and awareness into the root causes and symptoms that lead to ongoing use. Together, we will identify techniques to help you feel more comfortable with yourself and the path you are choosing. I also treat disorders that often co-occur with addiction, such as trauma, anxiety, and depression, to reduce symptoms so you can move forward. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, effective care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a licensed clinical social worker and certified substance abuse counselor, I have considerable experience working with substance use disorders and trauma. I identify the unique needs of each individual and recognize that the same path is not suitable for everyone.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
