My name is Paula Fields, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience. I began my training working with senior adults, followed by serving populations from several walks of life. Throughout the years, my respect and admiration for seniors, their resilience, and the challenges they’ve faced through their life experiences has continually grown. I consider it a true honor to be a Senior Health provider.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is respectful care and consideration while building a connection with the people I see. I offer nonjudgmental understanding and support, and great respect for the difficulties and life experiences that are endured as we progress in life. I’m aware of and admire the bravery it takes to reach out for assistance. Knowing this can feel magnified in a first meeting, it’s my top priority to make it as comfortable as possible.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As we begin, I’ll request your permission to explore what brought you to therapy. With patience, I’ll learn about your life and experiences. Throughout our first session, it will be important for you to share how you’re feeling so I can support you as we go along. As we begin this journey, I’ll help you identify what you want from this, and then we’ll work out how we’ll make that happen.
