“Paula has been working with me to deal with a lot of my anxieties and self doubt, but during this process I have been going through a messy breakup. The subject of our sessions has shifted to that, and she given me a safe space to talk about my feelings on all of this, giving me feedback to help me work through some of my own feelings and consider why I might be feeling certain ways, and tried to help me sort through this difficult time in a very compassionate way. She has been such a blessing.”

“Paula was instrumental in my understanding of myself as a person with OCD and anxiety and how to address the anxiety and ruminative thoughts that had taken over my life. I also came to accept my sexuality and now identify as bisexual. Paula also helped me re-frame issues around intimacy in my marriage and my wife and I are having better sex than ever. Paula encouraged me to get on an SSRI for my ruminative thoughts and medication for erectile dysfunction. Paula is supportive, open-minded, and encouraging and my life as changed as a result of regular sessions with her and medication.”

Getting to know Paula Rosenfeld

I am the kind of clinician who utilizes real-life references and examples to show how interventions work. I am transparent, nonjudgmental, and will share with you the exact intent of my interventions. I have been practicing for 26 years, working with children, adults, couples, and families throughout my career. I tailor my interventions collaboratively to clients' expressed needs and goals, as I believe the client is the expert of their own life. My job is to help reframe and redirect self-awareness toward existing strengths and to build upon them. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Phillips Graduate Institute.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can anticipate a sense of hope and validation, with some tools to help reduce your symptoms and increase your trust in yourself. Of course, there is no guarantee however I will teach you all the things I know and hopefully some things will fit for you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
