Psychotherapist

I work with clients struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, or trauma. I also support those processing everyday stressors who want a compassionate therapist to confide in—someone who will challenge them and assist with problem-solving. I specialize in working with individuals facing reproductive challenges. As a compassionate therapist, I understand the complex emotional and psychological impact of infertility and miscarriage. I can: • Support you in maintaining hope, peace, and positivity while navigating uncertainty, helping build resiliency. • Help you access your deeper intuition to honor your body, spirit, and mind with intention throughout your journey. • Work with you to increase clarity and purpose around your fertility journey. • Use a holistic approach to address integrative lifestyle strategies that may benefit your fertility path. • Assist in addressing relationship difficulties from fertility stress, helping develop strategies to increase intimacy and foster healthy communication. For women and men who have experienced reproductive loss: • The devastating and often invisible pain of losing a pregnancy is unique—it involves not only the loss of your baby but also the loss of the future, with no accepted way to mark that loss. Sometimes friends and family expect a quick recovery. Partners often grieve differently, and for men, miscarriage trauma is frequently overlooked. Some women may also experience guilt or shame, emotions not typical with other types of grieving. • There is no universal template for grief. Together, we will address your unique needs as you work through your grieving process. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from National Louis University, which informs my approach and commitment to providing thoughtful, individualized care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

It has been my experience that clients may feel nervous and unsure about what to expect during their initial therapy session. They may wonder how much will I have to disclose right away. They may have been holding painful feelings in for a very long time, yet still feel unable to freely discuss. This is where my engagement skills are most effective. It is my goal as a seasoned therapist to create a connection that will allow my clients to feel in control of what and how much they disclose during their initial session. At the end of our sessions, I want my clients to be relaxed and ready to continue the therapeutic journey that will lead to the unloading of baggage. I want them to leave their session with hope, insight, strength, and a sense of support and companionship for the journey they will embark upon in therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
