Psychotherapist
6000 E Evans Ave, Blgd 2 Ste 210, Denver, CO
Hello, I'm Philip! I've had the pleasure of calling Colorado home for the past 20 years, and throughout this time, I've dedicated myself to working in teen and adult mental health. My journey into this field began while volunteering, where I witnessed firsthand the profound need for mental health support. Inspired by this experience, I decided to pursue my Master's in Counseling, which I completed in 2008. Since then, I've been committed to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as my primary approach. CBT has always resonated with me because it started as a self-help tool, and I believe in empowering my clients with the skills they need to manage their own mental health. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, grief, life transitions, stress, OCD, or trauma, my goal is to provide you with practical tools and strategies to handle these challenges. I understand that seeking help can be daunting, but I strive to make therapy as transparent and approachable as possible. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where we work together to identify and challenge negative thought patterns. My aim is to help you build resilience and gain confidence in managing your mental health independently. I specialize in working with adolescents and teens, as well as adults, and I offer both in-person and video telehealth sessions through SonderMind. Outside of my professional life, I value the importance of continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health care. This commitment ensures that I can provide the best possible support to my clients. If you're ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to equip you with the tools you need to thrive.
