IMPORTANT: Thriveworks cannot provide services to clients with Medicaid coverage. If you have Medicaid, please contact your plan directly to find an in-network provider. For all other insurance plans, Thriveworks will verify your benefits after you book through Zocdoc. If verification isn't completed before your visit, you'll be charged our self-pay rate of $200 for that session. AFTER YOU BOOK: Complete these steps to avoid cancellation or being switched to self-pay. 1. Check your email for instructions to set up your Thriveworks account. Within your Thriveworks’ account, sign consent forms and add a valid credit card, which will be automatically charged for copays, fees, post-insurance balances, and self-pay amounts. 2. If using insurance, upload clear photos of the front and back of your insurance card. 3. Expect a confirmation call from our team to verify your information and answer questions. CANCELLATION POLICY: Provide 48 hours advance notice to avoid the $135 late cancellation fee. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with over 12 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, life transitions, and identity-related concerns. I began my career supporting people affected by substance use disorders and have since expanded my work to include survivors of domestic violence, people experiencing chronic homelessness, severe mental illness, and other historically marginalized populations. I earned my master's degree in community counseling from Argosy University. My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, grounded in the belief that people are far more resilient than the challenges they've faced. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, distress tolerance skills, and psychodynamic approaches to meet each client's unique needs.
