I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 10 years of experience. I earned my Master of Education in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from Delta State University. I have worked with clients ranging from age 4 to geriatric, addressing a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem, ADHD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
As a counselor, I want you to consider me your tour guide. Along the journey, I will be present with you and point out important things. I will help equip you with the proper tools to improve your current state and overall quality of life. I believe in humanism and being transparent. I want you to be able to trust me in the process and with your information.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am not perfect, nor do I have all the answers. But it is my belief that the answer is within everyone I service. As a counselor, I am fair and consistent. I am authentic, sincere, and honest. I promise to always be present during our time together. I will make suggestions, but ultimately the progress will govern the time we spend together. Therapy is a collaborative effort with the bulk of the collaboration to be done by the client between sessions. Homework and executing what you are learning are vital along the journey. This is not easy, but you are not alone. I am ready to be your accountability partner. You have taken the first step to improving your quality of life. More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
