I specialize in Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and Trauma. Our treatment goals include learning how to take back control of your body and mind through polyvagal theory techniques and expanding your identity beyond that of a victim or survivor. I have helped many clients living with and/or experiencing overwhelming depression, anxiety, ADHD, interpersonal relationship issues, parenting problems, low self-esteem, and difficulty managing anger. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and am in the process of completing training to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I-II. I also plan to complete additional formal training, including cognitive processing therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. I provide clients with a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative, supportive, objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy offers clients an opportunity to develop insight and acceptance and initiate change. It takes courage to ask for help.
