Getting to know Priscilla Benites

I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for the past ten years, with over 20 years of clinical experience in community mental health, dual diagnosis, college, and private practice settings. I earned my Master’s in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. My focus is on helping clients explore and clarify their personal goals, recognize their strengths, regain a sense of control, and develop the tools they need to move forward in their lives. When appropriate, I integrate Christian concepts to assist clients in finding more meaning and purpose. Change is challenging and requires courage and commitment to reach out for help. I believe that a supportive, compassionate therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change.
