Getting to know Priscilla Willmott

I'm here to sit with you and witness your lived experience. I believe that who you are is a culmination of having survived the pains of life and a result of how you learned to receive love. I help you notice the deepest parts of yourself so that you can become your most authentic self. I will encourage you to lean into your humanity and integrate the unacknowledged parts of yourself. I aim to provide a balance of safety and challenge, and in doing so, I hope to help you understand how much you gain by being more of who you are. I help you see yourself more clearly so that you can develop self-compassion and self-love. Although I am a therapist trained in many techniques, my main stance is to relate to you as a fellow human being. I hold a Master's degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from Loma Linda University, which has equipped me with the skills to support you effectively. As the famous psychologist Carl Rogers stated, “When a person realizes he has been deeply heard, his eyes moisten. I think in some real sense he is weeping for joy.” I hope to give you this gift.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in helping clients gain authenticity. I do so by helping you pay attention to your emotions, thoughts and body as this is what is what it means to be fully human. I provide a balance of safety and challenge so that you feel safe enough to open up but also be told the truth. I aim to be empathetic in my approach as I believe that all behaviors, no matter how dysfunctional, are learned and have served a purpose.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
