Psychotherapist
11731 Sterling Ave, Unit B, Riverside, CA
We all experience anxiety, depression and interpersonal stress at one time or another. Often, we are able to cope with these experiences on our own or with help from our loved ones. When our pain persists despite our best efforts, we turn to someone with training and experience for help. Research and tradition teach us that sharing our painful experiences within the context of a supportive and focused therapeutic relationship can help us cope with and even overcome our emotional pain.   As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have dedicated my academic and professional activities to helping others heal. In providing a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic space aiming to enhance your self-understanding as well as promoting self-acceptance and self-compassion. I promote new ways of understanding your pain by helping you develop insight and new strategies for problem solving. I provide information and guidance about evidence-based strategies and techniques that can help you get back on track and achieve your personal goals. I also consider the importance of your relationship with others and how developing new ways of understanding and modifying these relationships can further promote your health goals.   I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience helping individuals and families in outpatient and inpatient settings. I have completed a master’s degree in counseling psychology and am currently in the process of completing a PhD in clinical psychology.   If you are ready to begin the process of overcoming your emotional and/or interpersonal pain and would like to work with me, we are here for you.
