Getting to know Rachael Stewart

I utilize a holistic approach and adapt each counseling relationship to the individual's personal needs, goals, and aspirations. This is done through a strengths-based, client-focused therapeutic approach to partner with you as you seek wholeness. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families as they seek to make necessary changes for cultivating a fulfilling and authentic life. It is my goal to identify your strengths, increase your self-awareness, and assist you in your journey. I specialize in anxiety, depression, faith-based (Christian) counseling, premarital and marital counseling, life transitions, and identity issues. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Governors State University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After sessions, clients can expect deeper reflection and homework assignments to explore themselves and their goals. My motto is to "work myself out of a job" meaning I aim to equip every client with the tools they need so they feel they no longer need me! Clients should feel supported and empowered when working with me.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
