Psychotherapist
MA
I'm glad you're here. I work with individuals seeking relief from symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I offer a nourishing and collaborative therapeutic space where together, we will engage your inner resilience to nurture deep self-compassion and empowered healing. I would be honored to join you on your path toward wellness, and invite you to reach out to see if you think we are a good fit for each other. My approach I offer creative, embodied practices in my sessions to guide you on your journey toward peace and self-compassion. Through mindful and somatic engagement, together we will draw upon your inherent wisdom and strength. This may look like paying attention to how emotions live in the body, and using our body wisdom to discover new insights, gain clarity on old or stuck behavioral and thinking patterns, and try on new coping skills for life's challenges and stressors. My focus I enjoy working with individuals who are going through big life transitions. This can include pregnancy and postpartum, entering and exiting college life, changes in relationships, and navigating grief. I also specialize in addressing symptoms and emotions stemming from childhood trauma. Oftentimes, these life challenges show up as anxiety, fear, or depression, which can lead us to feel disconnected from our bodies. Many of my clients experience restlessness, overthinking, fatigue, insomnia, or feel lost, overwhelmed, and alone. Our bodies are experts at letting us know what needs attention. Our work together in therapy will strengthen and clarify the connection between your emotional and physical states of being, which will give space for deep understanding and increased self-confidence. My communication style I believe in the importance of open and clear communication. I offer a warm and relatable tone to create a space of comfortability, safety, and trust. Your story is important to me, and I will listen with non-judgmental ears and an open, patient heart.
