Rachel Bond, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
My name is Rachel Bond, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about treating individuals with ADHD and anxiety. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Troy University - Fayetteville Support Center. I use an eclectic approach because everyone is the author of their own story, and not all clients fit the same therapeutic framework. My approach I draw from various techniques, including Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, tailoring interventions to each person’s unique needs. My focus I work with clients experiencing ADHD symptoms like difficulty focusing, feeling overwhelmed, and racing thoughts, as well as anxiety characterized by racing thoughts, somatic symptoms, and situation-based triggers. I also understand stress from customer service roles in restaurants, clothing stores, and theme parks. My communication style I have a direct communication style with a flair for dry humor and symbolism during sessions. While maintaining a professional yet laid-back approach, my goal is to help you learn more about yourself and discover the tools you already have to heal. My journey to mental healthcare I was inspired to become a therapist to help people heal from negative childhood experiences. About a year after I graduated, my school experienced multiple attempted and completed suicides due to academic pressure and lack of support. I wanted to ensure that pattern did not continue into adulthood. My goals for you I view goal setting as essential in therapy. Goals provide a clear path to follow, and even if we divert, the path remains to guide us forward. My first session with you Our first session will focus on completing Rula’s intake assessment. Afterward, sessions become less structured and more focused on building rapport, discussing your interests, and shaping the session to fit your needs.
