Getting to know Rachel Gren

Welcome to therapy, I'm Rachel. If you or your loved one are experiencing emotional distress due to family, work, relationships, or the unknown, I am here to help. It takes courage to seek out a therapist, and I am glad you are ready to get started. I empower high-functioning individuals to reduce feelings of being overwhelmed, nervousness, worry, sadness, and other symptoms that disrupt life. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling from Chapman University. I have provided mental health counseling for individuals in small rural clinics, larger city clinics, and as a provider for short-term counseling grant programs. I offer flexible appointments, including evenings and weekends, understanding how difficult the work or school week can be. My goal is to increase your opportunities for accessing uniquely tailored mental health treatment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session with me starts with an intake assessment to discuss what is bringing you to therapy. During sessions, we will explore your experiences and discuss feedback from interventions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
