Getting to know Rachel Kraemer

Stuck in a rut in life? Feel like you are going through the motions every day or experiencing anxiety that is controlling your life? I help treat conditions such as depression, panic attacks, anxiety, adjustment disorder, relationship conflict, burnout, and poor self-esteem. Throughout counseling, you will have a safe, confidential, non-judgmental place to talk where you will learn tools and skills that can help you be in a better place in your life. It takes courage to seek help and take the first step, and I want to be there to support you through your journey toward reaching your goals. I use evidence-based counseling interventions to promote positive change in your life one step at a time. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from South University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session will be mostly information gathering in the initial assessment phase. At the end of the first session goals for counseling will be developed. The follow-up sessions will be focused on evidence-based interventions to help reach goals that have been developed. Throughout counseling services goals will be reviewed and progress towards them discussed, identified. Also, changes to counseling goals will be reviewed and updated as needed.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
