What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect a holistic approach to inner healing and faith-based counseling, combining evidenced-based techniques with Christian principles. Counseling Techniques: I will use a variety of counseling techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy. These techniques can help clients address negative thought patterns, develop coping skills, manage emotions, and promote personal growth. Christian-Based Principles: I will incorporate Christian-based principles and may suggest the use of scripture, prayer, and spiritual guidance to help clients find meaning, purpose, and inner strength. I will help clients connect their faith to their emotional healing process. Emotional Processing: I will guide clients through a process of identifying and understanding their emotions, exploring their origins, and finding healthy ways to process and release these emotions. Root Cause Exploration: The concept of "Get to the Root" will help clients identify the underlying causes of their emotional struggles. She may guide clients in exploring past experiences, traumas, or patterns that contribute to their current emotional challenges. Holistic Approach: My holistic approach may encompass various aspects of well-being, including mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical dimensions. Clients will be encouraged to adopt lifestyle changes, practice self-care, and nurture their spiritual growth.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
