Getting to know Rachel Margolis
Welcome! I'm Rachel.
Are you feeling depressed, anxious, or stressed? Are you struggling with your relationships or a major life transition? Do you feel stuck or overwhelmed? Everyone deserves a safe space to address these challenges, to heal, and to grow. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and 15 years of experience providing non-judgmental, compassionate support to individuals from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of issues. I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is critical to successful therapy. In our sessions together, I will strive to carefully understand you and your unique experience, and together we will explore how to make your life easier and more satisfying. I look forward to hearing from you!
What should a new client know about working with you?
In our first session, we will dive into what brings you to therapy. I will spend the first few sessions getting to know you and developing an understanding of you as a whole person. We will work together to set realistic therapy goals and spend subsequent sessions working towards those goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
