"Hello, I'm Rachel, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey. My primary goal is to help you balance out overwhelming thoughts and emotions through therapy. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and I'm here to guide you through that process with empathy and understanding. I am a proud graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and minored in Sociology with a focus on Substance Abuse Studies. I continued my education at UCO to attain my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. During my graduate studies, I gained invaluable experience as a clinician in training at the department-run counseling clinic, working under the supervision of experienced faculty. With extensive training in trauma-informed treatments, I am committed to providing empirically validated therapies to achieve measurable positive progress. My approach is rooted in research, teaching, empowerment, and advocacy. I draw from several theoretical orientations based on your unique needs, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I specialize in a wide range of areas, including ADHD, Anger Management, Antisocial behavior, Anxiety, Autism spectrum support, Depression, Family relationships, Grief/Bereavement, Life transitions, Multicultural/Diversity issues, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, PTSD, Spirituality, Stress, and Trauma. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or navigating a challenging life transition, I am here to support you every step of the way. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where we work collaboratively to identify your goals and develop strategies to achieve them. I am passionate about empowering my clients and helping them build resilience and self-awareness.
