Randi Fabrick, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Randi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Dietitian with many years of experience providing supportive counseling to individuals and families. I have worked in various settings and currently focus on women's health needs, including life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum, and family dynamics. I also enjoy working with teens to help them improve their coping skills and focus on their future goals. I like providing worksheets and handouts to support learning new coping strategies. My approach I use an eclectic approach because I believe everyone's needs and resources are unique. This includes CBT, interpersonal and family systems therapy, supportive counseling, and incorporating mindfulness and other positive coping techniques to address anxiety and depression. I also consider the whole person, including health issues that may affect overall coping. Making small changes is essential to feeling successful. My focus Maternal Child Health-pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and life transitions; adolescents and families-young adults and life transitions. My communication style I am calm and relaxed, creating space for open dialogue and offering supportive feedback. I start where the client is and help them make the changes they want. I always emphasize positive aspects and small changes that lead to success. My journey to therapy I began as a Registered Dietitian, working with diverse patients and settings, and realized there was much more behind “the diet plan.” I completed my Master's in Social Work at the University of Southern California, which enhanced my counseling skills and helped me address the underlying issues involved in making changes. I enjoy working with clients, allowing them to express their concerns, feelings, and roadblocks, and providing new skills to enhance their lifestyles and personal journeys.
