Randy Mendoza, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
I am queer, neurodivergent, and gender nonconforming, and I enjoy working with teens and adults. I'm of mixed minority identities decolonizing myself in Northern California. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Fresno, and have been licensed to practice therapy in California for the past 15 years. I have experience working with children, teens, and young adults, as well as with parents seeking support to navigate challenging relationships with one another and their children. I enjoy working with clients on a wide variety of treatment goals, including reducing depression and anxiety, processing trauma, and increasing connection with natural supports. My primary focus is on trauma and attachment issues, using a strengths-based approach to help clients identify and meet their goals. I believe that establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is a keystone for success. I also have experience working with neurodivergent clients and actively support the neurodiversity movement.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits
