Hi there, I'm Raquel! My name is Raquel Morales, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I earned my Master's in Social Work from San Jose State University. I am passionate about helping my clients build on their inherent strengths while finding solutions to challenges with self-compassion and self-empowerment. I have experience working with individuals such as young adults, single parents, Veterans, and the elderly. My approach My style of therapy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral and Client-Centered therapy. I use a strengths-based approach when working with clients. My primary goal is to create a safe and inviting space where healing and growth are possible. My focus I have primarily worked in medical settings with individuals experiencing physical and emotional trauma. I am experienced in supporting those struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have been successful in helping clients navigate life changes, family and relationship dynamics, and adjustment to illness or injury in a compassionate manner. My communication style I strive to create a safe space where clients feel supported, heard, and validated. I ensure my approach is non-judgmental and supportive as I walk with you on your healing journey. I bring a culturally competent perspective and aim to be accepting of individuals from all walks of life. My goal is for you to trust that I can help you on your path to emotional healing and balance. My journey to mental healthcare Wanting a career as a therapist came naturally to me. I have always wanted to help people and ensure my friends felt welcomed. Growing up, I was known as a good listener. I remember my first psychology class as a young adult in college and realized this was the path for me. I found it fascinating how people can make changes and improve their circumstances. I enjoy helping people who are facing adversities, whether emotional or physical.
