My approach I am a client-centered therapist who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gestalt approaches, and Mindfulness techniques. My focus I typically work with teens, young adults, and families facing relational issues, depression, anxiety, developmental difficulties, communication impairments, and self-esteem challenges. My communication style My goal is always to create a safe environment for my clients. I use active and reflective listening so my clients feel heard and understood. I collaborate with them to help them feel empowered and in control. I may offer suggestions to consider and then discuss ways to implement the strategies we explore together. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist has been long and difficult. There have been many bumps along the way, but I wouldn’t be here if this work didn’t mean so much to me. I didn’t give up because I believed this was what I was meant to do with my life. I deeply value the profession and the clients I am privileged to work with. My goals for you I approach goal setting collaboratively.
