Getting to know Rebecca Bartle

Hello, my name is Rebecca Bartle. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Hartford and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I'm licensed in Texas and West Virginia and have over 30 years of experience working in the field of mental health, wellness, and recovery. I use a holistic, person-centered approach in collaboration with clients to assist them in defining goals, cultivating insight, and designing beneficial solutions to challenges. My approach The theoretical approaches I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Rogerian, Relational-cultural, and Adlerian. My focus I work with individuals, couples, children, and families who are interested in understanding and healing from trauma, recovering from addiction, developing insight into family of origin dynamics, and adjusting to the multitudes of challenges life can offer. My communication style I am authentic, and my accepting and non-judgmental demeanor invites the same in others. My journey to mental healthcare During the first session, we discuss desired outcomes for coming to therapy and events leading up to the decision to begin. I work with clients in collaboration to define their desired goals. My goals for you My compassion, empathy, passion, creativity, and curiosity are key components in making the field of mental health the perfect fit for me. The work I've done in my own journey led me to first discover my interest in understanding the mind, the human condition, and the process of healing. My first session with you I encourage visualization, fostering hope and resilience as I join clients in exploration of internal dialogue, recognition of behavior patterns, and emotions experienced. Together we make a map for navigating a healthy path forward.
