Psychotherapist
CA
I fully believe that life is a journey, and therapy is a way to explore where we've been, where we are, and where we're going. You are the expert in your life, and no one else can experience it the way you have. However, through therapy, a new understanding of self and a dedication to developing healthier ways to cope and manage can benefit anyone. In therapy, you are in the driver's seat, deciding where, when, and how we get there. As a therapist, I am here to guide you and support your exploration. You have the steering wheel, the gas pedal, and the brake, and I help make connections and develop a deeper understanding of yourself to create a healthier future. This process can be hard and, at times, unpleasant. However, I strive to provide a safe environment where clients can resolve past hurts while fostering growth, strength, and ultimately, change. Using a variety of interventions tailored to each individual's needs, I help clients develop self-awareness and support them as they integrate new, healthier ways of coping, managing, and healing. As clients heal, they experience changes in overall life habits and adopt adaptive strategies to face life's obstacles while letting go of what has kept them stuck. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, which informs my approach and commitment to supporting clients on their journey.
