“I was very nervous to start therapy again, mostly nervous if the therapist would be a match for me, or understand where I am coming from, but Rebecca was great! She really seemed to listen to what I had to say, and understand my perspective/where I was coming from. She had very helpful and insightful feedback, and I am very excited to continue therapy with her!”

Getting to know Rebecca Gomez

My approach is culturally aware, trauma-informed, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients can explore both personal and generational experiences that have shaped their lives. I work with adult children of immigrants who carry the emotional weight of their parent's journey and the intergenerational trauma shaped by sacrifice and survival. EMDR therapy helps clients process traumatic memories so they no longer feel stuck in survival mode and begin to reconnect with safety, dignity and resilience. Therapy can be a place to understand these dynamics with compassion by honoring our parents and grandparents' sacrifices while creating space to heal from what was passed down.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of- network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
