Rebecca (Rivkah) Standig, LCSW

Rebecca (Rivkah) Standig, LCSW

Psychotherapist
1745 Shea Ctr Dr, 4th Fl, Highlands Ranch, CO
My work centers on the places where identity, healing, and human connection intersect. Specializing in trauma, self, and relationship issues, my practice welcomes patients across a wide range of experiences, including those navigating BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ identities, neurodivergence (ADHD and Autism), complex PTSD, and ancestral and intergenerational trauma. Whether you're exploring your sexual, gender, spiritual, or racial identity, or seeking support within a polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous relationship, you'll find a space here that honors who you are. As a queer, non-binary Jewish person of color, I understand firsthand what it means to navigate the world with intersecting marginalized identities. That lived experience deepens my commitment to creating a space that is genuinely safe, inclusive, and affirming for people from all walks of life. Creativity and exploration are central to the work we do together, and my hope is that through our sessions, you'll uncover new dimensions of your most authentic self. The path that led me to this work is anything but conventional, and that's exactly what makes it meaningful. Before becoming a therapist, my career spanned roles as a florist, speech therapist, and software engineer, to name a few, and my life has unfolded across nine states and beyond U.S. borders. Each chapter shaped the way I listen, adapt, and connect with the people who come to me for care. This breadth of experience is something I bring into every session: a genuine curiosity about people, an ability to see the world from many perspectives, and a deep appreciation for the richness that comes from lives fully and bravely lived.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy with me is built on a foundation that is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and psychedelic preparation and integration therapy to meet you where you are. My goal is to create a safe therapeutic container where anyone who has ever felt excluded, overlooked, or uncertain feels genuinely held and seen. Your identities are not obstacles to work around; they are central to the work itself. Together, we'll explore the intersection of your experiences, challenge what no longer serves you, and support you in growing into the fullness of who you are. This is a space where your inner magic is not just welcomed — it's celebrated
