It takes great courage to move towards change. I’m glad you’re here, and I hope I can help you find what you are searching for. I work with individuals, youth, and adults who struggle with Emotional regulation, Relational struggles, Life Transitions, and Intergenerational family conflict. My therapy process is influenced by a systemic view. My treatment background focuses on understanding diversity issues and unraveling cultural stigma. I believe change comes from the willingness to explore alternative thoughts/behaviors in a judgment-free environment. Reach out when you’re ready! My approach In treatment, I use a combination of talk therapy and skill-building to support you towards your intended goal. I offer strategies and techniques from well-researched and evidence-based practices (such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Functional Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy). Depending on your comfort level and mental health needs, I may suggest practices like mindfulness or medication. My role is to support you by walking with you in your journey towards wellness. My focus I work with youth and adults dealing with emotional and relational issues such as the following: Anxiety, Depression, Low motivation, Partner conflict, Little to no interest in socializing, Stress at work, Transitions of life stage, Changing homes or schools, Conflicts between parents and adult children. I understand that issues do not occur on their own, but that they permeate and impact multiple areas of life. I can help by navigating these areas with you and providing effective tools to work through the difficulties. My communication style I value clear and open communication in order to foster therapeutic trust and a supportive, non-judgmental space. My journey to mental healthcare I have taken an interest in life stories since a young age, being highly curious about why people are the way they are.
